Safety Permits

“Safety Permits” managed on EDMS to improve quality management of Accelerator safety

Hardware Permits and Beam Permits are now managed on EDMS according to the procedure “Safety Permits for Beam Facilities“.

Cool-down permits also exist for the LHC. They are managed by the TE DSO.

The status of the Beam Permits can be seen on EDMS for the machines of the:

• PS Complex
• SPS Complex
• LHC Complex
